The suspect has been remanded in a custodial centre for r*ping his daughter.
“A person recognized as Yahaya Oisamaiye has been remanded in a correctional centre in Edo State for allegedly having illegal carnal data of his 15-month-old daughter.
The suspect is accused of committing the offence on February 7, 2022, between 5am and 6am, at Brisbourne Iyamu Avenue, GRA, Benin Metropolis.
The cost towards him learn;
“That you simply, Yahaya Oisamaiye, on or about February 7, 2022, between 5am and 6am, on Brisbourne Iyamu Avenue, GRA, Benin Metropolis, within the Benin Judicial Division, did have illegal carnal data of (identify withheld) aged 15 months, thereby committing an offence opposite to Part 4 and punishable below Part 5 (1) of the Edo State Violence In opposition to Individuals (Prohibition) Legislation 2021.”
Oisamaiye was remanded pending authorized recommendation from the Directorate of Public Prosecutions, after pleading not responsible to the cost.
Justice Geraldine Imadegbelo adjourned the case until March 23, 2022.
