Three Killed, Two Kidnapped In Kaduna
Three individuals have been killed and two individuals kidnapped as bandits attacked Ungwan Galadima in Chikun council of Kaduna State.
The state chairman, Christian Affiliation of Nigeria, Rev. John Joseph Hayab confirmed the assault yesterday, saying that the bandits stormed the group within the early hours of the morning and operated for about an hour with none problem by safety personnel.
A resident stated the gunmen shot intermittently into the air whereas the assault lasted.
Police spokesman Mohammed Jalige didn’t reply to the reporter’s cellphone calls.
In Benue, herders killed eight individuals yesterday, barely 24 hours after 4 people had been slain at Ndozov in Guma council.
Chairman of Guma council Caleb Aba instructed The Nation on the cellphone that 4 individuals had been killed in a settlement known as Iye, whereas the opposite 4, all fishermen, had been slain at Ake River.
Aba stated the incident occurred within the wee hours of yesterday.
“The herdsmen, who not include cows, cross to Benue by means of Nasarawa’s porous borders, kill innocent villagers and return by means of similar border path.”
