Truck Driver Kills Former Bayelsa Commissioner And Regulation professor Shortlisted For SAN Rank In 2021
Professor Sylvanus Abila, a former Commissioner for Atmosphere in Bayelsa State, has allegedly been crushed to dying by a truck driver.
Prof Abila was fixing his car alongside the East-West highway on Wednesday, March 23, when the truck driver ran him over, killing him immediately.
Abila served as commissioner in the course of the administration of Senator Seriake Dickson, pioneer Chairman of Nigeria Bar Affiliation (NBA), Yenagoa Department and was amongst these shortlisted for the award of the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in 2021.
He was a former Head of Regulation Division and was till his dying, an Assistant Professor within the College of Regulation, Niger Delta College.
A Regulation Faculty lecturer, Sylvester Udemezue, confirmed the mentioned information on Fb.
