Chelsea accomplished a £70m deal for the previous Leicester Metropolis star on Wednesday, with Fofana signing a seven-year deal in west London.
Fofana made 37 Premier League appearances for Leicester, along with his development on the King Energy Stadium disrupted after he broke his leg in pre-season final 12 months.
